Yesterday marked the beginning of marathon training!!! We started out with a quick intro with what was expected of us, a base run of 30 mins and then received our log sheets. It is exciting to be involved with a group of people who will be there to support you mentally. It is all very, "no man/woman left behind." Unlike the other free programs the Y offers for running groups this one is an additional fee. I couldn't imagine training for a marathon solo, so this fee for knowledge, training, companionship and accountability is fine with me! Just another reason to stay on path - I paid for it! :) Happy running! Here we go!
